Big win for Paul Mueller who is a guide out on Candlewood. Did it with style pulling in some monster spotted bass on a technique near and dear to my heart that kills it on candlewood.

Was nice to see Paul win it!!

He said that what he did to win was a lot of what he does on Candlewood!

yes...... ice fishing.......heard he had to make hole bigger to land it ...and it stayed on  the line.....he let her go ...to live another day ...for us to look  for.....

Glad to hear it was released! As Joe said, way too many ice anglers kill the fish they catch. That fish is a potential new state record Pike!!

It's been a long time since I've caught any pike in there either. But if there are some left, they are probably giants.

If they could do that with MLF and give the viewer the option to pick which anglers they want to watch that would be incredible.

Bingo!

Not sure if it'll happen, but they'd seriously be onto something then

I don't think there was much more to it other than a couple f-bombs dropped, what i saw live was nothing.

I heard more f-bombs from other anglers during the week as they don't always know when they are live  :)

I'm guessing they'll be working on sorting all of that out as they move forward too, especially in light of the fact that part of their goal is to make MLF more spectator-friendly and have the anglers become role models for kids, as in other sports. Time will tell..  :hmm:

Pretty sure we didn't see Ike's reaction as it wasn't fit for live ;)

I wouldn't have any doubts at all about that

@Brazzy I didn't see any of what you watched, but I agree that they need more cameras. My guess is that they will add more as everything grows and they develop their system a bit more. Should be interesting to watch it grow.
