Yes, you can join the remaining line to the new line.

Use the Lefty Kreh knot.

No trailer. No trailer hook. Keep it simple

I've tried different trailers. And I've tried no skirt with a frog bait. Didn't like it much.

it's been brutal at work having to wear masks

I bet! So glad I don't have to go to work anywhere and wear a mask on top of already uncomfortable conditions  :puking:

Can't believe the water temperatures lately!!

Mid to high 80s every day, with no end in sight. And I'm talking about the water, not the air.

This has definitely slowed things down a little for me, even after dark.

I have caught lots of fish during the last week or two. Only one or two in the 4 lb. range.

@toadhunter I lost one like that a few weeks ago on a night trip. Biggest bass I've hooked in a very long time. Had it right next to the boat and almost into the net when it did one final head shake and slight jump, and then disappeared into the darkness  :crying:

It was an amazing fish that I won't soon forget!

It's those monsters that get away that keep us coming back!

Still sounds like a great day, though

Time on that lake is the biggest thing you can do to get better and to gain confidence on it. There is no substitute for it!
