so i bought another chatter bait. fresh out of the package.  hit a pond thats on my list of new ponds.

this was in the middle of july. after only finding a few tiny bass along shore i cast out to some stumps in the middle of the pond.
smoke a 3lbser. next cast, BAM!!!!! big fish hits. 5.14lbser

caught a bunch that day biggest 5.14lbs but a ton of 2s and 3s on chatterbait

my go to bait in the summer.  i got out of work one day. my mom calls me up and says you need to pick your sister in an hour
sweet ill go toss a line at a pond.   i tie up  a chatterbait fresh out of the package. brand spanking new.

first cast over by a log. the line crosses the log.i barely move the bait. BAM fish smokes its. missed the fish! darn. i take another cast.cast over the log again. bam the fish hits again. its starts peeling drag. trying to take me into the tree. 14lbs of drag. still going.

the fish is hanging over a branch.  im using 10lbs braid so i wasnt pulling this fish over the branch.  roll up my work pants. i wear a uniform. take my work boots off. walk in the mud to land this beast

6.6lbs. i lost the lure that day and didnt buy another until 10months later
