Ike shows the rig in this video.

Curt, here's the one i made. The first one i used an old buzzbait for the wire, only problem is the wire is thick so it's hard to bend. The others i made i had some wire that's easier to bend.

As for helix units. I like them. I would like to eventually get the 360 imaging on the bow and see how that works. If I was to start all over again I might go with garmin because of how awesome panoptics are, but Im too far gone to start over again.

I like the Garmins too, but that $1500 for the transducer is a bit much  :P

@Joe P How do you like the Helix 10 units? And do you have them networked?

I have the Gen 1, not the Mega's but i love them. Really bright screens and good detail. Yes they are networked.

Got them right after black Friday last year almost half priced  8)

Speed is good when you consider that the boat is close to 20 feet long.

Top speed isn't everything, it's how the boat handles at running speeds. I can hit 58 but the boat gets a little loose, at 55 it runs rock solid!

That boat is rated for a 135.  An Etec  135HO (basically a 150) would perform very well on that hull!

But Reynolds doesn't sell Evinrudes  :P

I see that Reynolds has 4 of the 1880's in stock.  Really nice looking boats 8)

Been thinking about these rigs myself, could be good in heavy pads also!

It's almost like a mini drop shop rig but much more heavy duty.
