Title: The Pats
Post by: lexbassbuzzin on November 26, 2010, 06:15:56 PM
Well they're 9-2 and tied for the best record in the NFL. If the season were to end today they would be on the road as a wild card team. Go figure.

Not bad for a young team some experts claimed would only win 7 - 9 games ::)

I'm thinking that a 12-4 record is very possible!  As long as they win the Monday night game against the Jets i'll be happy ;D  But i have to admit that the Jets are looking very good :P

I heard their last win was pretty rough. Hope they hold up for the rest of the season.

When they played Detroit they did look rough, however, they did not have their usual time to prepare, the Detroit team is all new and is harder to figure out what they are doing offensively and defensively per quarter and the Patriots still managed to win and put up some big numbers. The BIG teams that we normally play against (Baltimore, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Indy) we did well against and the defense stepped up to the plate. The defense just did not do that against the Jets the last outing, but it was early on in the season. We definitely have the WORST defense I can ever rememeber and our saving grace is that we have a heck of an offense, but all in all I think the team is working nicely together. Jets will have a tough time against the Pats in their home field and the Jets (though looking good) have been pretty lucky in a number of games this season as well. In a QB shootout, Sanchez is no match for Brady, but defensively if the Jets can shut us down a bit they will have a good shot to win this. I expect a 3 point game either way with a possible OT.

I've been saying 12-4 all season!!! but I gotta admit, I didn't think it would be because of guys like Woodhead, Sanders, Tate, and Branch (who I'm pumped is back!!)  If they can beat the Jets, then we are definatly looking at a Super Bowl contender team.

Brady for MVP? I'd say so. What a run the Pats are on!

It's amazing how good this team is getting. Belichick is really turning the corner with his young defense.

I'm starting to think they might not loose again!

It is looking real good for the Pats, as well as the Sox! Yankees just missed out on Lee and they were 30 mill more than the Phillys! He he he !!  ;D

Well they pulled a close one out last night. They made a back-up quarterback look like Joe Montana. I hope they haven't come back down to earth yet.

I'm thinking they might have thought it was gonna be a cake walk and under estimated them.

I bet Belichick works them hard in practice this week! He was not happy at the post game press conference!

WOW! Six players selected to the Pro Bowl!

I'm not sure if Meriweather deserves it though. I didn't think he had a great season this year. I must have missed something.

Meriweather def does not deserve to be there. If he does not miss tackle then he is getting fined for illegal hits.  ::)

There are looking at a 14 - 2 season, no way Belichick takes it easy against Miami. Plus they still have that home winning streak record going :)

Fingers crossed for four more wins 8)

I think you're right Joe. I think they'll play it like any other game, but you have to wonder if it's the right move considering what happened to Welker last year in the final reg season game.

I am just hoping they do NOT run up the score against Miami. Nothing ticks a team off more and that is when people get hurt.

Time to disconnect the cable box for the game and break out the ol' rabbit ears... ;D

I think I will fish during the Miami game........meaningless anyway. Hopefully enough angry football fans will sway the powers that be to put a deal together for the first playoff games.

growing up in south Florida being a pats fan was not an easy thing to do,as the pats were the doormat for football.i hope everyone that the mullets play shut them out by 40+.glad this lockout crap is over and hope the team gets back to wining.not so sure about a few of their picks this year but i guess thats why i am not a NFL coach.here's to hoping they have a great season and bring another title home.
