With this hot weather the frog bite is kicking into high gear. The river fishing should take off also with fish trying to find more comfortable water temps and higher oxygen content. Got this one in the heat today.

Just got back from my annual Maine fishing trip and we had a great time both with quality and quantity. We fished for 24 hours in 4 ponds over three days.

Headed out this morning and it was a grind, until the wind and rain moved in. Then it was game on and the bite was off the charts.  Caught them burning a spinnerbait over the grass in 2 to 3 fow.

@Curt - NC it was 69 the day I caught them, we broke a record for Feb 23, today it snowed and was 32. Lol
