Possible bigger storm for saturday though :P

Hopefully it doesn't hit you!

I actually had a few minutes to walk down to one of the neighborhood ponds yesterday and wet a line for about a half hour. The water temps in the small ponds are only in the high 30s to low 40s, so I didn't get any bites. But at least I got to make some casts and get out there for a while

@metz12 If the boat launch in Bradford is frozen, it's definitely cold

I know what you mean about the crowds at Meadowbrook Pond. I get a kick out of that. It reminds me of opening day of trout season there too  (giggle)

Luckily all the snow melted here. Still cold. You know its cold when the Boat Launch in Bradford is frozen! I drove down this morning to test a few baits out that I made and there was skim ice. Had to go to Carolina farther up the pawcatuck to find some open water.

Medowbrook pond looked like those lakes in Maine with all the guys out there ice fishing. Parking lot was packed and there had to be 50 people out there and at least that many holes drilled.

But it is still 17 degrees at 10:30 am :P

It's actually cold here today for NC. Topping out today in the mid 30s with tonight's low down into the 20s. No snow where I live, though, thankfully!

there's not a lot of ice locally, maybe a few inches at most.  Benn up and down temps with some rain and a lot of wind!

I've seen lots of pics of others in New England ice fishing recently. Most are inland, in MA, etc.

Is there any snow on the ground currently, other than what has fallen today?
