Title: California Delta PIG Bass
Post by: Curt - RI on June 05, 2012, 02:22:44 PM
My buddy Cooch, who I have fished with a few times on the California Delta, landed a 14 lb. 4 oz. monster back in late Feburary.

He's the guide I was fishing with when I landed the 9 lb. 14 oz. bass pictured in my forum icon back in 2005.

Put your eyeballs on this fish  :o

Just saw on another site that Cooch passed away suddenly this past Saturday.  They say he caught one over 9lbs just a few days earlier!

Yes, @Joe P He died suddenly this past weekend  :'( :'(

Not sure what caused it, but it was out of the blue.

And he had just posted last week that he had caught one over 9 lbs. on the Delta. He fished literally up until his last day alive. Can't believe he's gone now  :nope:
