I have a cottage right on Sebago for the first week of August. I know its a really long ways away but im excited so its all I been thinking about. I'll be on the westside of the lake by Northwest River. I'll be bringing my boat. Anyone have any experience with fishing Sebago? im already expecting people to say 'dont waste your time go to hancock or somewhere else' but I want to learn Sebago because im going to make it a point to start going up there when i can. I went up end of july with my brother to target lakers caught one real nice one (9lbs and some change) and then we switched off and started bass fishin. all we really got into was little cookie cutter smallies (under a pound) and thats about it. Was reading an article about draggin 3/4-1oz football jigs with creature baits on bottom for smallies around the northern end of the lake. Anybody with any experience would be greatly appreciated. largemouth. smallies. either way dont matter. not lookin for secrets or anything crazy just lookin to catch some fish and i dont want to just take the easy way out and fish a pond nearby thats loaded and you can just pluck em all day. Thanks in advance
