Thanks for all your advice I am leaning to just stick with the stock bearings or just replace the bearings with standard reel bearing as I tell my son there is no need to by a new reel just because it has 14 bearings when a reel with even 5 bearings will work just the same and feel just a good.

Are Boca bearing worth the upgrade in terms of getting a longer cast over the standard bearings the reels already come with.
