It would be interesting to put a trail cam nearby to see what people actually do with it  (giggle)

Although I like the idea of them putting this there because it allows people to clean their boats, I agree that it won't last long with vandals being vandals.

And in the long run, a boat cleaning station won't fix the weed problem at Chapman Pond.

I wonder how many tens of thousands of $$ they spent on this genius idea.  :hmm:

I think we are adding China Lake to the mix. Androscoggin Lake was also in the hunt but, apparently there is a huge Father's day tourney there tomorrow and it will get very heavy activity.

@thirsty Let us know how the trip goes!

@Joe P fishes in Maine annually.

@Eric-Maine lives there. Maybe he can help.

I have fished in Maine also, but way up the coast, around Ellsworth. And that was many years ago.

What lake(s) in Maine?

I believe he fishes a lot of small lakes using a small Coleman Crawdad.

Fishing Tackle Q & A / Re: Breaking in a Buzzbait

Break it in by using it!

Many of the tips you get from people are opinions, myths, superstitions, etc.

I have caught fish on buzzbaits on the very first trip out with them.

Where do you get these reels serviced if something breaks or are they disposable?

Give their website a visit. http://kastking.com/

I noticed there is a toll-free number in the upper right corner to call.

I have dealt with them on a few occasions and have had good success getting any problems I've had resolved.

I also just noticed this page: http://kastking.com/pages/warranty-services

Let us know how you make out!

The Hawg Forum / Took the Win This Weekend!
« on: June 07, 2021, 09:40:51 AM »
I fished in a club tourney this past weekend.

The first half hour was dead, but I made a change to my presentation and it worked for me for the rest of the day!

I bagged 17 1/4 lbs., including these nice bass!

The biggest was a tad over 5 1/2. The smaller of the two was 4 3/4 lbs.

It was a great day on the water
