Have boat need a fishing partner in RI. My recent partner had to get a real job so he is not available much for the upcoming 2016 season. I fish most Sunday's and one night during the week, don't fish tournaments (golf on Saturday's)

I bought this unit new and have used it 5-6 times, yesterday when I powered it on the unit appears frozen, any thoughts??

Boating Forum / Trolling motor upgrade

I recently purchased a Tracker txw and it came with the standard minn kota edge 45lb thrust with one interstate battery. I would like to get more hours/power from my trolling motor, would I be better off upgrading to a higher thrust and adding a second battery of going to a 24V system?? Any advice would be helpful.

Do I have to take this course? Is it required by law or other states to fish in (with a boat)? Does anyone know if this course is available in and around Keny County?

Hi to all I'm new to the forum like 5 minutes new. I am really wanting to buy a tracker pro 170 but after reading a bunch of articles on RI DEM site and others there are many lakes and ponds that have HP limits is it worth buying the tracker to bass fish in RI?
