Title: High Water
Post by: Curt - RI on March 16, 2010, 12:40:08 PM
I stopped by the launch in Bradford this morning to see just how high the water had gotten. I arrived to find the parking lot underwater  :o

Wow!!!!

That is crazy, but on the plus side it looks like you have even more structure to fish there now.  ;D

Ya... that would be true if only there were some bass in there!

My sump pump has been running every 20 - 30 seconds for several days now, pumping out between 30 and 40 gallons of water every minute. Fortunately for me, I don't have any floods down there... just some puddles that are seeping up through cracks in the floor. Nothing a shop vac can't handle every couple hours or so.

Ya.. and they'll all wash downstream in about 5 minutes!! The current when I took these pictures was rushing down through!! I don't think I've seen it move that fast in at least 10 years or more.

One thing I forgot to mention about that middle pic... the area immediately in front of me is supposed to be the parking lot, all the way back to those bushes you see on the right and the tree on the left. Won't be anyone parking there for a few days  ;D
