Tackle Underground Lure Making Contest Entries!
« on: March 28, 2021, 06:08:15 PM »
Last year was my first year entering the Tackle Underground forums Coolest Lure Contest. This year I added a big 8" hand carved rat, and a hand tied, and airbrushed Rainbow Trout Spinnerbait. With my boat still being down, I have been pumping out lures, while wishing I was fishing.
I make baits, so when I fish, I am product testing! And when I am not using baits I make, I am researching.

Thanks guys! I am hoping to catch a big trout eater on that spinnerbait after I can get into some ponds that are stocked near me. That rat will be good at night. I don't know if I am going to keep it, or sell it. I don't throw baits that big. I max out around the 3oz 6" mark. My swimbait rod also is only rated for 4oz as well so, yes its a good excuse to upgrade, but my 17' aluminum money pit has had hold on my wallet these days  ::) We all know how that goes though!
