2nd Talon Installed!
« on: March 01, 2021, 11:50:21 AM »
I spent Saturday morning in the garage with the propane heater fired up.

By lunch time, I had my 2nd Minn Kota Talon installed on the boat!

Can't wait to use it now. We just need a bit warmer weather

Looks good! Those 8 footers?  Did you just remove the engine bolts and slide the bracket in?

Yes. they are 8 footers. I don't fish water deeper than 8 feet very often, so I went with the 8.

I have a jackplate, so all I had to do is remove two bolts on each side and attach the brackets to them. The outboard stayed bolted the jackplate, which was nice not to have to deal with that.

Looks awesome Curt. You have one of the coolest rigs around! Now you are apart of the cool kids club with the 2 shallow water anchors. Now you need one of those Ghost trolling motors, pan optics, and a bunch of Prostaff stickers  ;D ;D ;D ;D
I make baits, so when I fish, I am product testing! And when I am not using baits I make, I am researching.

LOL. I think I'm good with gadgets for now!  (giggle)

As for the Pro Staff stickers, I think I'll pass on those also. You know my feelings on that topic  ;D ;D
