Smallmouth Bass Fishing - Charles River
« on: November 17, 2020, 09:11:22 PM »
I have heard over and over again that smallmouth bass were in the Charles River, but I was unable to find any for a long time. Not until I started using Fishbrain did I discover where and how people were catching a lot of variety of fish in my area. The smallmouth below was my second one.

Now I am planning a trip to the Merrimack River to do some more smallmouth fishing possibly before everything freezes over. At what temps do smallmouth turn off?
I help fishermen with a job and a family find more time to go fishing!

Smallies can be pretty easily caught until the water temps are down into the 30s.
