Line question
« on: August 06, 2020, 10:16:00 PM »
most likely a stupid question.

I lost a good fish and a good chunk of line the other day,
18lb mono
I have probably about 100 or meters left of new line.

My question is can I join this to my existing line without loosing too much line strength?

If not I probably would need to re do the whole reel.

And what would I do with the last 100m of new line?

Many thanks

Yes, you can join the remaining line to the new line.

Use the Lefty Kreh knot.
