Raingear, Buzzbait=Toad

I say it all the time, "big fish bite in nasty weather". If you have a good set of rain gear then you don't get distracted by the weather. I fished for 2 hours with only 3 fish to show for it. When the rain got heavy I switched to a buzzbait and headed for some weedy flats, my next three fish totaled 11 lbs. If I didn't have good rain gear I would not have stayed and found those fish.

Even when the bite is slow, sometimes a reaction bait will do the trick.
