Seen similar sights at ramps in my time

Pleasure boaters are the worst. Maybe its because they arent used to constantly being at busy ramps like bass fishermen are. My favorite story was at Mashpee where there was a line of people waiting to use the double wide ramp. This guy towing a jet skit with a Prius is next up and both sides are open. He goes ahead and backs his prius right down the middle so no one else could go. He takes his sweet time and does his thing.. And dont you know.. monkey see monkey do, the next car pulls up with kayak on it. He pulls right down the middle of the ramp and unloads his kayak and then instead of putting it off to the side of the ramp on the beach he leaves it in the middle of the ramp while he parks his car. Of course with people waiting this started a little dust up at the ramp.

Absolutely laughed my butt off every time I see that clip, for so many reasons!

A while back I had a dodge ram and could park my boat in a shoebox if needed. Replaced that truck with a Chevy and it had a bed cover and was lower to the ground.  I couldn't see the trailer at all when backing up. I felt like it was my first time at a ramp for the entire season. Fixed the problem by selling that truck and going back to Dodge  !

I have my on and off days with putting my boat into the water. The problem is I get used to towing my Tractor Supply trailer that is actually wider then my boat, so I get used to being able to maneuver it better then the boat. Usually when I am not launching for a tourney I can get the boat in the water easily, but when there are people waiting for me I have issues. I cant stand the way the new ramp is angled at Indian. I get it messed up all the time.
