These rods are Amazons deal of the day today. Seen a lot of good reviews on them so i figured for $44 it was worth trying one  ;D

@Joe P I saw that same deal and decided to snap one up!

I bought the 7 ft. MH Casting rod. I'll be reviewing it later on over at www.TackleTest.com. Everything I have seen and read so far has been great, including this video that shows these guys unable to break it, even with a truck  :o

Mine will be arriving today!

I also decided to try their new Torrent reel. Paid $27 for it and got that yesterday. Initial impression is very impressive. Compared to the Kastking i tried last year (decent reel) this thing feels much better!
The reel is very smooth and has a solid feel, drag and spool tension work very smooth. Hard to think you can get something like this that cheap.  Can't waot to try it out 8)

Yep! My rod is also supposed to arrive today sometime too.

Now all we need is to wait for the warmer weather to roll around so we can put them to use

That stinks, Joe!

Mine got dropped off right on schedule late yesterday morning. The rod looks great and feels really nice. Very lightweight. The guides look awesome too.

Can't wait to use it in the spring

I hope you can track yours down quickly and get it in your hands.
