2019 Tournaments?
« on: January 07, 2019, 12:04:22 PM »
Good afternoon all,
I know it is still early in the year but I'm noticing a lot of tournament schedules being posted up in a variety of places. Most or the much bigger trails. Does anyone have any insight on more local trails? I haven't fished a tournament in almost 8 years, last ones I did was with my father with RI Renegade trail. I'm looking to get back into it but it seems most local clubs have since gone away. I'm located in CT near the casinos. Have my own rig so just looking for a great group to get my feet wet again in the competition world.

Any advice is great! Thanks and hope everyone is gearing up!

@ARMYBASSIN There are usually some local trails posted here as Spring gets closer.

As for local clubs, the one I run is full. But I believe there is a new club being started by a friend of mine, @Bassaholic

I will touch base with him and have him stop by so he can post info.

By the way, the trails I speak of are run by @tritonmike so maybe he can pipe up in here too. I know that his sister just passed away, so he may not get to this right away.

@Curt - RI Thanks for the info, I'm sorry about the loss of @tritonmike sister. That's terrible.

Ya, it is sad for sure. Mike is a throat cancer survivor, so the loss of his sister is kinda like a kick in the chest after the battle he went through already  :crying:

@ARMYBASSIN I was in touch with @Bassaholic earlier today. He said he would swing by here at some point in the near future to touch base.
