Looped Wire Spinnerbaits
« on: November 30, 2018, 03:55:26 PM »
@toadhunter I think it was you that mentioned a trick to keep the line from wrapping around a looped eye spinnerbait. I think it was a rubber band or an O ring.
If it was you, what's the trick??

I've also heard of people using an O ring or some other kind of material to prevent open eye spinnerbaits from spreading apart and bending so easily.

Anyone hear of this or try it??

Sorry @Curt - RI  I don't think it was me. I make R-bend spinners, all I can say is my spinnerbaits have .040 wire so they are more durable.

OK. Thanks. I could have sworn it was you, but I guess not. Hopefully I will recall who it was.
