Ice is good in central Maine and everyones fishing. Fishing derby in Dexter coming up and an old buddy Jim Nichols does a good job of keeping it going. Gets bigger every year...?..some nice largemouth coming thru the ice on Stetson pond along with perch-pickerel-and crappie. I used to smelt fish for him and had many good times on schoodic lake watching them huge togue swim thru filling up on smelt, salmon could run thru anytime also. Enjoy the winter boys...?.I stay busy just keeping the woodstove roaring and doing some tackle buying for this spring on the water.
