Still catching
« on: December 01, 2017, 07:16:51 PM »
Went out today and caught 16 bass(1 to 2 lbs) mostly on suspending crankbaits and jerkbaits. The fish have moved to their wintering spots. The fish were caught in 8 to 10 feet of water on shell(mussel) beds and off-shore rock piles 5 feet deep. The jerkbait worked in the morning when the bite was sluggish but the crankbait was the better when the sun got higher. Just a tip, this time of year when you think you're fishing slow, slow down more.

Glad you're still getting out there! Today was a beautiful day, especially with little or no wind.
