Monday - 7-17-17
« on: July 19, 2017, 11:37:47 AM »
Time: 7:30 PM to 12:20 AM
Air Temp: 70
Water Temp: 78
Skies: Cloudy (with dense fog during the last hour or so).
Depth: 3-6 FOW

Did some night fishing with @Bassaholic on a local Southeastern CT lake, from 7:30 PM until a bit after midnight.

We landed close to 20 bass up to about 3 lbs. Also lost a few others.

No really big fish, but the action was great, especially after dark.

Before dark, we caught them on Salty B-Bugs and another soft plastic craw bait. After dark, we hit a few on Spinnerbaits, but mostly on big topwater baits.

All in all a fun night.

Sounds like a good night of fishing and you got to beat this heat and humidity

Ya, we had a blast and didn't have to worry about sunburn or boat traffic  (giggle)

Boat traffic seems down to me this year. Quite a few times iv'e been out i was the only trailer in the lot.

Even at Watchaug  it's been like this, not sure about the afternoons though?
