Upcoming Server Upgrade
« on: April 23, 2014, 08:59:57 PM »
Sometime during the next 72 hours I will be doing a server upgrade.

The forums will be migrated to the new web server during that time. Every effort will be made to do this with no data loss, so in order to do this, I will do what I can to put the forums in "Maintenance Mode".

Doing this will hopefully make the forums inaccessible to everyone, so that no posts can be made and no PMs can be sent during the overlap between the old server and the new server.

Once the migration is complete, everything should run at much faster speeds.

So, if you happen to stop by during the next couple of days and the forums are inaccessible, don't fret. They'll be back soon!

The server upgrade is finished!

If yo're seeing this, then it means that you're seeing the live version of the forums on the brand new server.

Please reply here to let me know that you got in OK ;)

Thanks for your patience during the transition!

Nice job Curt, seems a little quicker or am I experiencing an angler moment?

Either way, all seems to be running fine on my end!  :)

Thanks John! It's definitely loading faster than ever. The new server is cloud-based, so downtime should be a thing of the past now. Not that we've had any recently, but this will eliminate the possibility of downtime or data loss  :)
