Hey all, its been one busy summer that's kept me away from the site. I haven't been able to fish much either, but have kept up with the Sox...Whatcha think of their chances this year? They certainly have been a huge surprise IMHO!

Good to see you again John!

If the Sox keep playing the way they've played for the past several weeks, they will be tough to beat.

There seems to be some good unity with the team this year!

I agree Curt, looks like they hit a pretty good stride at the right time!

Lackey pitch one heck of a game last night to get them in the post season an they need 1 more for the Division.

Playoff Baseball is back in Boston!

I agree. I don't know anything about him, but he seems to be a great match for the team this year.

I agree Joe, what a difference a good manager can do to a team.

It would be nice to see an Indians/Red Sox playoff round, wouldn't it? Tito at Fenway for a play-off series would be awesome IMHO.

Woke the baby up last night around mid-night. Oops!  ;D It was a good win we needed to get out of that series! Now is when it will really get interesting!

LOL. I don't have cable so I couldn't watch it live, but I was using the play-by-play on the MLB website and even that was exciting!! So I can understand how you would have gotten excited enough to hoot and holler a little  ;D

The live coverage NESN had of the locker room celebration was entertaining!

Napoli running around in just a bathing suit soaked with champagne was a sight ;D

Oh man, I can't wait for this series. This should be great! My biggest worry is I get up @ 4:00 am to be in Boston for a project, I'll be at the project for sure, staying awake for the game is going to be an issue!

Just get a quick nap before game time! Once the game starts the adrenalin will take over ;D

Should be a great series, the two best reams in the AL IMO....

I went Friday night to the game and it was great. I got 4 tickets and the seats were great. Sox took that one 2-12 with Lester pitching. Weather was perfect too. Now I am sitting and watching Lester pitch again tonight top of the first. Go Sox !!!!!

Another tough challenge with Scherzer on the mound!  This will be a tough series to win but they can win 8)
