woke up this am to a horrible sight,i could not believe it.i had forgot to flip the bar down in my ice maker and i had no ice for my go fishin cooler.what a way to start the day :D.

Us store keepers don't much like you all making your own ice anyway, coffee either BTW 8)

i do have a 12volt coffee pot fer the boat and truck,build a store on pachaug and i will buy it all from u ;)

My wife asks that of me every now and then.  :-[

I have some great long time employees and a daughter who is taking over much of what I used to do. Now I keep the grass mowed the lots plowed and fix things now and then. I am very fortunate now to be able to schedule my work around my fishing.

  Where is your store? I will be up there this week and will need some ice for sure! I will be in Bethel with the iman again.  Not sure what lakes we will be fishing. Any input would be great including some night fishing locations. Put the coffee on early for us!

Funny you posted this, Mike! I noticed a lot of the swampy, shallow areas around here were frozen all the way across yesterday morning  :(

On the way to the lake yesterday all the small ponds were frozen over and I thought I might get turned back at the ramp at Lovewell. I lucked out and had a great few hours. No fish but the fishing was good. Water was high and stained not sure if that was why. Quit early and washed road grime from the salty roads off the boat and truck. Probably won't get out again until after Christmas.

Glad to see you're still getting out Eric! Due to my garage project and the time I spent on Saturdays helping with that, I haven't been out since early October  :(

But on the bright side, my garage is now home to my boat, my truck and my wife's 2 cars  ;D
