Beach Pond
« on: July 02, 2011, 11:28:55 PM »
Great day down at beach pond! The Jig bite was on. It has been a long time since I've had a good day there. Matt L and I fished 5:30-11:30 and picked up about 20 fish. Lots of dinks but a couple 2's and 3's. I found this one on a  jig in 15ft.

That was a sweet fish. What a great morning of fishing... I would say 80% of the fish were caught on jig and then we caught some on spinner and some on the senko's, but the jig bite was ridiculous that day. They were very particular to color and size of the jig as well. Mitz had a great color working for him and until I downgraded and changed my color to something similar they left my jig alone.
Don't let that stinking bass get away!!!!!
