Got the Boat Wet Today
« on: March 30, 2011, 06:42:08 PM »
Finally got a chance to get out on the water for a short time this afternoon :)

I hit Chapman's Pond, since it's so close to my house.

I posted a report here: http://forums.northeastbass.com/index.php/topic,4703.0.html

It was cold out there but it felt good to be out in my boat again!

 ;D

Still didn't get to run the outboard. Chapman's is a 10 HP limit lake. Maybe next week I'll get out there and blow it out  :D

Tucker's has some nice bass in it, but unlocking them can be a challenge. It's a place that requires some patience and many trips there to learn the lake and it's idiosyncrasies for sure. There is also a 10 HP limit on Tucker's Pond.

By the way... glad to see you here.  :)

I know what you mean. I got out there on Tuesday for the first time and today for the second time. What a feeling to be fishing again, huh? What a long winter this has been?!

Glad to hear you caught some fish!

I hope to be out there again in the next few days, no matter what the weather brings. I'm quite done with hibernating  ::)
