Any safe ice yet in ma and or ri

I have heard a few second hand reports that some ponds in ma are holding about 4-6 inches of ice. Gonna try and get out tomorrow the 26th in foxboro. Anyone have a new report since last year? Good luck guys and gals. Watch out for those darn wind flags. ;D

Safe ice here in southern RI. Chapmans Pond has been frozen for at least a week now. Not sure about other lakes in the area.

I found some reports that the ice is only a few inches and soft in RI.

Also read that there was a couple big hole at barbers pond where it looked like someone went through :P

Wow.. that's  really odd with the low temps we've  been having. The ice sculptures that they put out in downtown Westerly over a week ago still haven't  melted!

I know, but i haven't seen anybody out on Chapman's?  From what i read there's not much more in Northern RI ???

Thanks for the reports guys. I went out yesterday in foxborough Ma Neponset res. I had to cut the trip short due to the weather. Managed to get a couple slim darts and a 2lb largie. The ice was between 4 and five inches thick. Not sure how the warm weather is gonna be effecting it this weekend. Gonna try and get out this Fri.

Nope I live in North Attleboro. I used to be a member of this thread a few years back. I went a long time without a computer. Hopfully this one out lasts the last. Curt may or may not remember me. Long time no post gents.
