Won't catch me out there that is for sure. Not an ice fisherman, unless we are talking about one of those ice houses far up north with tons of beer and 6 ft of ice under me.  ;D

Yeah, ice fishing is not my thing either.

I can't beleive that anyone would have tried this early in the season. Heck, the ponds just started to freeze up here last week, only to melt from the warm rains we just got.

The way I look at Ice Fishing is.........if I cast my lure out and it lands with a thud........it's too darn cold!!

Got this shot yesterday afternoon, showing the lake all frozen over again.

The ice wasn't too thick, but by the weekend I'm sure there will be people out there again!


Tough to see it in the photo, but some sections of the ice are really rough, with pieces sticking up all over the place from the wind that was blowing as it froze.
