So does this mean that the fish must be out of the boat and on the scale by 8:30 or does it mean that the boat needs to be on the shore by 8:30?

It means that if your fish are not at the scales ready to be weighed by 8:38 they WILL NOT GET WEIGHED IN   THis worked out well last year I got sick and tired of guys screwing around taking their time getting to the scales . I have to get up at 4:30 in the am and was tired of not getting home at a decent hour .

I hear you with that Bill.  Hopefully Ron and I can make some this year.  He had a mild heart attack about 4 weeks ago and I have an infection in my lungs.  We need to go fishing, you get sick when you don't fish you know.  He's outside right now playing with the electronics.  Can't wait to see everyone it's been a long winter!

Wow.. I hope you both are OK. My dad also had a mild heart attack last week. He had surgery and he's doing OK now.
