Starting to see ice...

While I was out today I saw good amounts of ice on small bodies of water. I even saw ice in the coves and protected areas of a small local river. If we don't have a warming trend within a few days, we might start to see some small lakes skimmed over from one side to the other soon!

Chapmans looked like it was skimmed over this morning. I think there will be early ice this year....

I don’t like these reports! Sorry to anyone that ice fishes! But I can't wait to see the ice out reports! I can take it for Dec and Jan, but mid Feb I start to get the itch bad. At least there is the BPS in MA for the occasional fix!  ;)
