I checked the ramp this afternoon and the pad seemed to settle down enough that it a non issue now ;D

I assume with the thawing and some boats launching pushed it back into place!  I will be there in the morning with the boat!

Thanks for the update Joe! Let us know how you make out with the fishing and how the ramp really turns out to be when you pull out of the lake afterward.

I spoke with DEM about it late last week and they told me to give them an update when I can because when their guy went down there to check it out the water was to high to be able to see the damaged pad.

If it's still an issue that needs attention, please do me a favor and count how pads down it is from the very top pad. Thanks!

Fished there a few hours this morning.

Ramp was no problem but there is very little room for your boat once launched. Some idiot also put a stack of concrete blocks and rocks out in the water. Probably someone that was trying to get on the ice.

I caught a pike about 7 pounds on a jig near some wood but that was it. Water temps were 42 - 44 and that wind was some cold!  My hands were getting numb so i packed it in early. I got home and it felt warm in the yard but that sea breeze was a killer today :P

I would say you're right! But the pollen was so heavy on Saturday that I could have sworn that it was snowing at one point when the wind started blowing!!

I don't really remember it being this bad when I was a kid, but then maybe I just didn't pay as much attention to it then.

I washed my truck today and by the time I was done, it had a yellow coating all over it again  :(
