beach pond

went to beach pond for a few hours on fri. Managed to catch four smallies and dropped one close to four pounds. I was messing around trying to get it to jump and when i wasn' t ready he went down and pulled the hooks out, my bad. Also caught a 4 1/2 pound largemouth and messed up again when i threw my bait close to a set of rocks, all of a sudden my bait stopped and felt stuck, but continued to swim of to the right.  Finally when i started to feel the drag peel out i laid into it. The bad news was that that bass was very big ( I feel he was over 8 ) and he was able to shake off of my hooks. That not a good thing. The guy that was with me is still laughing at me

I would have laughed at you too.  Good to see your back on fish.
