Fished Watchaug Saturday for our first club tournament.
Air temps. cold and did not get much warmer (especially if you fished in the wind all day)
Water temps- 46-48
Fished deep water most of the day, 8-10 feet on scattered weeds near deeper water. Used a gold spinnerbait and a rouge. Ended up with three LMB, 6.89 lbs, which was enough for 2nd place. Also caught a number of pickerel and large rainbow trout....
Tough day overall, so I was glad to come in with what I had...
