Indian Lake
« on: April 09, 2003, 09:03:59 AM »
Hey All,

Braved the wind and cold on Sunday to fish a local club's tourney on Indian Lake. The temps were freezing and the wind was howling. There were 1'-2' chop on the water, with water temps no higher than 42 degrees.
I managed one smallmouth on a salt & pepper SLUG-GO. The smallie weighed 2lb 15oz. The winner had three fish that weighed just under 5.5lbs.
All in all, not a lot of fun :( :( :(

Mike-

Sounds like one of those days where watching bill dance catch some bass in Fla on TV sounds pretty inviting... where'd you get the smallie? I get most of mine on the left side of the pond, right off the ramp around the bend before the riprap begins....

Did you get the new boat yet? Did you christen it on those Indian Lake rocks??
The Jounrey IS the destination.

Steve,

That's exactlly right. Off the boat launch to the left, on a salt & pepper Slug-Go.
I did get the new boat, but fortunately I didn't "christen" it.
