I use Power Troll batteries. They're not cheap, but I have had great succes with them for several years now.

They're available right in Hope Valley, RI, at Power Resources, inc. (401) 539-8646

Walmarts everstarts are a good battery for the money but not maintence free,  they also have a warentee for a couple of years where with a core fee you can replace them "free of charge"  if you have problems with them.  I have also used Die hards by the deep cycles seem to be an item not regularly in stock.

I have had a few batteries over the last few years. I was tired of the white crusty acid all over my boat compartment and battery tray. They allways seam to only last 2-3 years. So, I went out and bought 2 of the Power Troll batteries last year and love them. They are maintenance free and hold a charge much better than all of the other batteries I have used.  They are an AGM battery that I bought in Hope Vally. Curt told me about them over a year ago. Now its the only kind of battery I would buy. They are costly, but I have come down in price a little. You get what you pay for. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

I'm not sure... but i think i'm going on my forth or fifth season on my Power Troll batteries.  They seem to have the same power at the end of the day as they did in the morning, well worth the price :)
