I heard or saw that Saturday it is going to be -7 degrees and who know what the wind chill will be! Bet that helps to thicken the ice!

They are Crazy !
I don't even want to be outside with these single digit temps!  Never mind being on Chapman's with that wind!

Curt got some nice pictures of it while it was being done till it was completed. A change in letting us use our motors would be nice. Something like an 8mph would be nice for those windy days!

It looks very cold all week. Lots of ice very soon. I wouldn't think any of it will be safe for some time. If and when anyone does go out ice fishing. Be safe!

Yea? I heard the ramp was closed. The property owners near the ramp have a cow if you park near their house!

I was fishing a NEB tournament about a year or two ago with a Curt and landed a 7.19 lb bass for lunker. So there is some good lunkers in there. Curt has landed quite a few 6+ pounders over the years there too. Great place.

I went there for about 4 Hours one night with Isaac about 2 weeks ago. It was a great night with about 12 bass caught with only about half of them being keepers and most being small mouth. The weather was nice and one of my last night fishing trips for the year.

I think we ended up with about 11 bass that night with one or two of them being shorts. It was the perfect night time weather with no moon and overcast skies for most of the night. I prefer fishing this lake at night.

Try Wallum lake up in northern RI. Lots of smallies and shouldn't have any issue with water levels. Lots of water traffic during the day. Good luck if you go.

I talked to a friend that had a club tournament there ( Watchaug ) last week and he said they had to get in the water and push the boat out!
