Title: Chapmans Pond, RI
Post by: Curt - RI on December 05, 2005, 05:59:21 PM
Chapmans Pond in Westerly, RI has about 30% ice coverage, although it doesn't look to be too thick.

Other small ponds and swampy areas are also icing over pretty quickly.

I heard today that the ponds in western and central Ma. have a thin but complete ice cover. The coves of Wilsons Res. in Pascoag are beginning to ice up. We'll be out there before you know it.

Not me! I will be by my fireplace sipping my coffee watching football with my dog! She doesn't really watch it! We just hang out together! The only fishing I will be doing this time of the year is in my BPS book!

Bob you don't know what your missing. Nothing like being out on a nice day with no wind with temps in the mid 20's to low 30's with a pot of venison stew or chili. (and your beverage of choice of course).

Hey Mike, is there a drive thru at the lake where I can order a couple of bowls of chili or stew?  Because I'm with Bob on this one,  I'm not leaving the recliner!!
