Title: One day Spring bite
Post by: toadhunter on April 15, 2018, 08:21:12 PM
@ProvidenceBassHunter , and I fished a shallow pond in Connecticut on Saturday. The day started slow with bites coming on jigs and soft plastics but once the day progressed we caught fish on spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Most of the fish came from the edges of the creek channel where fish were sitting in emerging pads in 5 fow. Others came on the first hard cover(wood & brush) closest to the channel. We landed over 40 bass in five hours.

Good job!

I saw a few other people on Facebook today saying that they also had killer action in the cold, wind and waves. You just never know how the bass will react to frigid weather and nasty fronts.  :nope:
