New LED Light Installation.
« on: May 22, 2018, 10:07:55 AM »
I spent a fair amount of time this past weekend installing a complete LED light kit on my boat!
I've had the lights for a long time, but never took the time to tackle the installation until now. It was a lot of work, sorting out how and where to route the wires, etc. But I'm really happy with the results
Here are a couple pics  (giggle)

I spent a fair amount of time sorting out the logistics of it all; connections, wire routing, fishing wires through the boat, etc.

I'm really happy with the way they came out and the way the boat looks with them on in the dark.

I picked red because it doesn't attract bugs and it doesn't mess with my night vision.

The entire LED light set on my boat, including the bow lights, is from LEDHead Lighting. http://stores.ebay.com/LED-Boat-Lighting

Thanks Joe! It was a lot of work. Aluminum boats aren't very friendly when it comes to snaking wires!

I thought of that same thing! I will use them sparingly for sure  (giggle)

I put this short video together to show the lights in action.
