SA Face Shields on Sale!
« on: April 05, 2018, 04:25:46 PM »
Wanted to give everyone a heads up that SA Fishing is currently running a monster sale on their awesome face shields.

Buy 1, get 4 free!

I reviewed this product a few years ago and gave them a solid 4.5 star rating!

Check them out here and keep your face protected from the cold, wind and sun. They even work great to keep the pollen out of your mouth and nose later in the spring, during pollen season.

And save a lot of cash while you're at it.

Been thinking about trying one of these but i can't deal with some of the patterns on them :P

Wish there were more solid colors to choose from!

I don't like the crazy patterns either. I bought the digital camo and similar colors.

I grabbed five of these during their sale last year. I too disliked most of the patterns but was able to find a couple that worked for me. I used them all summer to keep the sun off of me and they worked well. Buy one, get four is a great deal. They're pretty durable and maintain their stretch pretty well so five should last pretty close to forever.

@One more! Agree 100%! 5 of these should last a very long time.

I bought a 5 pack a couple years ago and gave two to my oldest grandson. I still use two of the other 3 and have the last one still new in the package. Definitely a great deal

Not a bad deal. I think when I got mine a few years back it was $15 for 1... I still have them and use them often.  Mostly for cold weather starts or that time of the year when you see the yellow pollen cloud comes off the trees.

@Mitz I use them mostly for cold weather too. Using them to during pollen season is also a great way to keep that stuff out of my sinuses.

I got these a couple of years ago and used them a lot. For the money they are good. However I do feel like there are higher quality options out there. For cold weather the Under Armour cold gear mask is awesome. I use it shoveling snow, so being on the water in early spring is no big deal with it. In hot weather I prefer something more breathable. The Huk face shields are great because one side is a very light mesh while the other is a moisture wicking fabric. So the part covering your face is very light. On super hot days I will also have the enduracool multicool. Thats that supposedly magical material that gets super cold.. and oddly enough it does!... for a couple minutes. However you wet it, and shake it out and it gets super cold and to even just press it against your face for a few seconds is magical.

@Brazzy It's kind of like anything else. One or two companies come out with a product for general use and then other companies figure out ways to come out with specialty products based on the original. Before you know it, you've bought 4 different kinds of face shields  (giggle)

I guess it's all in what you need and how much you're willing to spend, as with anything else.
