ramp at Chapmans

Anybody see  the new ramp and dock at Chapmans  pond yet?
Men and fish are alike, they both get in trouble when they open their mouths...

A couple pictures in this thread when it was still under construction. It's done now and it's a big improvement 8)

Curt got some nice pictures of it while it was being done till it was completed. A change in letting us use our motors would be nice. Something like an 8mph would be nice for those windy days!

Here's a pic of the finished ramp and dock.

Here's a link to the whole album of the project:

Don't know yet what will happen with the HP limit. As of right now it's still a 10 HP limit. The town of Westerly is now in charge of the lake and the ramp and they're talking about possibly dropping the HP limit to 5 HP. We'll see if that happens or not.  :hmm:

5hp? Really? I cant even think of any lakes that are 5hp limit in RI. It would be nice to be able to use an outboard, but dropping the limit wouldnt be a big deal for us, where you are just limited to your trolling motor. Like conneticut though it would be nice to see a speed limit instead of a HP rating.
