Rain and More Rain!
« on: April 03, 2017, 08:08:49 AM »
Looks like April will be living up to its reputation for showers!!

More rain on the way this week, with 1-2 inches coming in the next 48 hours. Everything should be plenty full during the coming weeks

All I can say is WOW  :o

Torrential rain here this AM. My backyard is full of huge puddles and there's a small river running down the road in front of my house. I hope the whole month isn't like this.  :nope:

We had 3 inches or so in the last 24 hours!!  :o

And now they're talking about 1-2 inches more for tomorrow. Small streams are already overflowing their banks. Not sure what the bigger rivers are doing, but I know the ground is getting pretty soaked now.

Looking ahead, they're not talking about anymore rain (after tomorrow) until maybe Thursday of next week, SO that's good.

Oh, and they're also talking about a couple of days in the high 60s

I'm not surprised with all of the rain we've had in such a short time.  :nope:

I was thinking that same thing a day or two back. High water never makes for good trout fishing in the streams.
