Warwick pond
« on: September 08, 2016, 11:19:39 PM »
Just to let everyone know that it looks like they are going to chain off the boat ramp on Warwick pond. A few weeks ago they fixed the dirt ramp from years of runoff, etc. and tonight I had a couple hours to kill and went there. There are 2 4x4's cemented in at the top of the ramp and it looks like they will be putting a chain across them.  I guess it is technically not a ramp but water access for the fire department but you can easily launch a bass boat here. I live in Warwick and this place is great for me when I want to get out for a few hours but it doesn't look good. The posts are just barely wide enough for me to fit my trailer through. I will check on it next week and follow up on this post in case anyone fishes here.

I've personally never been to Warwick Pond. But I've heard about the ramp and the lack of parking there. I guess if it's really an access road for the fire department, that would explain the lack of a parking lot.
