1st place took 140 home and was the guy running the event witch made it more fishy but im not upset about it anymore i was upset the day of because i got skunked and sun burned and i have no exp with bass on beds im still new to bass fishing and a sore loser lol but to hear about 1 of the fish being caught on a bare trebble hook did sound right

Im truly sorry that i didnt see this earlier. This is a very big deal!!! It most deff is a dq and i will be investigating this myself this week. If my findings do turn up to be true than he will be suspended from future events, as for the tournament hosts fishing, ive seen plenty club tournaments that the host fishes the event. I agree with brazzy on the honor code. This shouldnt have been public but that is something that i did not expect to happen. I will take this and learn from it and find a way to improve. @ProvidenceBassHunter  please pm me as soon as you get the chance. I would like to personally meet up to discuss exactly what you heard. Again i am sorry for not seeing this earlier.

Its over with now the host for sure spent that 140 he won by now and if he is DQ then that means second place should have gotten all the money cause he is the only other person that caught a fish. He told everyone at the end when we meet up to see who won and to collect prizes he said he caught 3 fish 2 on a spinner bait and 1 on a empty trebble hook. If it was a random person that showed up you could have wrote it off as well thats what happens when its a public event. But for it to be the host of the event that just looks bad man. I was excited for these bank fishing tourneys since i dont have a boat to compete in other ones but this just turned me off.

I'm a bit confused when you guys mention "the host of the event".

Are you referring to the person who organized it and ran it? I thought @Asori fishing was the organizer.

Please clarify this for me.
