Haven't been there in quite a while. Been thinking about it recently, but not sure how it would be right now after the heavy rain.

Was out there earlier this month, Beautiful color, Low traffic and not bad fishing. Caught a few chain pickerel and a nice smallie. Go after daybreak during duck season. I motored up to a spot and its still pretty dark and foggy. Started fishing and talking with my buddy then what sounded like a small army of duck hunters opened up on a flock right over our heads! Got outta there and ran up the quinebaug a little and Caught the smallies. Not a bad place. Beware of duckmen!

I was there in late September. The water was bright green! And the water levels were very low.

I'm sure the green is gone by now and the water level has probably come up a small amount. Should be some good fishing there right about now.
