Water Temps
« on: April 28, 2015, 10:24:37 AM »
With all of the cool, cloudy days and cold night, water temperatures seem to be stuck in the 50-52 degree range for the last two weeks!

Shallow lakes in southern RI had bumped 60 degrees back about 10 days ago, but they quickly plummeted back to the high 40s and low 50s when cold fronts pushed through and we had several nights with temps in the low 30s.

Let's hope things start to warm up a bit soon.

Have yet to see 45 degrees. Fished tournaments on Damariscotta and China this past weekend. Pretty much 41-42 everywhere. Great Pond still had some ice on Friday.

Wow! I'm not surprised Eric! I wish the jet stream would swing back upward and push the cold air back up into Canada where it belongs!
