WEDNESDAY NIGHT TRAIL 2014

May 14th    Amos Lake

May 28th    Beach Pond

June 4th     Aspinook (Butts Bridge Launch)

June 11th   Long Pond

June 18th   Pachaug Pond

June 25th   Billings Lake

July 2nd     Glasgo Pond

July 9th      Aspinook (Butts Bridge Launch)

July 16th    Long Pond

July 30th    Pachaug Pond

Aug. 6th     Beach Pond

Aug. 20th   Lake of Isle

Aug. 27th   Aspinook (Butts Bridge Launch)

Sept. 6th    Mansfield Hallow Dam - 7am to 3pm (Saturday)

ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE 5PM TO 8:30PM

$25 per boat, except September 6th is 7am to 3pm and is $50 per boat. Five fish limit per boat.  All boats must make an attempt to be in the water 30 minutes prior to take off. 1/4 pound penalty per dead fish. Short fish loses that fish plus largest fish. Dead fish cannot be weighed in for Lunker.

Weigh-In will begin at 8:30. Scale Closes at 9:00 Sharp

See below link, it shows what CT permits have been issued and for how many boats, doesn't appear the Billings for June has been approved yet.

Is there a boat limit on billings lake?

Billings is tough to get a permit for if you have more than 5 boats. They don't allow tourneys to use more than 50% of the parking lot capacity. I think Billings is only rated for parking for 8 or 9, at most.

i know parking is limited,can always just get together and fish,dont need a permit if its just a group of people joining up to go fishin  ::) was just curious.

hey guys, Ive been in contact with bill foreman of the ct d.e.p and he told me that for mid-week evening tournys they for the most part suspend the boat limits. I have had tournys there in the past and usually we don't get a lot of boats at the ponds with small lots. if we get a lot of boats we have to park in a couple rows . so the guys that get there first may have another boat trailer parked in front of them. in the past we haven't had more than 10 boats there, so it really hasn't been a problem.
